Lakes & Petals — Southern Ontario Native Wildflower Seed Bombs

$32.00

Lakes & Petals

Southern Ontario Native Wildflowers

Bring a little of the Great Lakes landscape home. This regional seed bomb blend is designed for sunny garden and meadow habitats in Southern Ontario, with native seeds combined with clay and worm castings. The name celebrates the region’s lakes and wildflowers; this is a garden and meadow blend, not an aquatic or shoreline planting mix.

Hairy beardtongue (Penstemon hirsutus)

Wild bergamot (Monarda fistulosa)

Black-eyed Susan (Rudbeckia hirta)

Smooth blue aster (Symphyotrichum laeve)

Gray goldenrod (Solidago nemoralis)

Virginia mountain mint (Pycnanthemum virginianum)

Cylindrical blazing star (Liatris cylindracea)

Plant on exposed, prepared soil in suitable sun and soil moisture; do not scatter over established lawn.

Manage competing vegetation and water while seedlings establish. Fall sowing can provide winter cold exposure needed by some species.

Many native perennials bloom more fully after their first growing season.
